Ecometrix uses AI both in the collection of environmental data for concrete but also in various applications to optimize building materials, for example in our new project to optimize recipes for concrete production. The industry organization Swedish Concrete is looking at opportunities to get the best possible benefit from AI in the concrete industry. They recently interviewed Olof Mogren , who is Senior Machine Learning Researcher at RISE in the area. Olof gives an overall overview of the application areas where AI is relevant to improving both the environmental and life cycle aspects of concrete.
