About Ecometrix

Ecometrix is a Swedish independent company that provides digital services to improve, compare and make available environmental data. We specialize in the unique needs that exist within the construction industry and can offer a data platform that meets the high demands that the industry has in terms of relevance, security and simplicity.

Ecometrix was born out of a concrete need within the Swedish concrete industry. The industry needed secure, relevant and easily accessible environmental data, gathered in a common platform to be able to compare and monitor the progress of the industry's joint commitments to reduce its environmental impact and its set goals for Net Zero.

Today, Ecometrix is a platform that collects environmental data for the entire construction industry. We make environmental data available in all the processes within the industry that need material data and comparison figures in the work to reduce the industry's environmental impact. Why we exist

We see the charts often. In different forms and contexts. But we need to look at them again. And again. But above all, we need to act. The projection of the red curve is why Ecometrix exists. The red curve must be tilted downward. We want to make the data available that makes it possible.

The construction industry in Sweden is responsible for an estimated 22% of all domestic emissions of greenhouse gases in Sweden (Source: Housing Authority). Globally, the construction industry is staggering 37% of emissions (Source: UN Environment programme). The change will have to come from an infinite number of small improvements throughout the construction process in everything from material production, design, material selection, construction techniques and life cycle analyses. Innovation and improvements are required on all levels – and for that, data is needed. Data that can be trusted and that simplifies the massive work that it really is.

Ecometrix works with different types of environmental data, not just Co2 (GWP). Our platforms can collect, refine and make available all types of environmental data.

Ecometrix's mission

  • We believe that real change is possible if companies and decision-makers have access to high-quality data that enables transparent and well-informed decisions.
  • We see the problems with the lack of data and data quality. Solving that problem is critical and urgent.
  • We will do everything we can to become the European leader for environmental data in the construction industry
  • We want to be the catalyst for true, transparent and lasting change in the construction industry.

This is us at Ecometrix!
